GPS receiver inverter

The RF input of the Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver is 1575MHz. Assuming an intermediate frequency of 85MHz and a low-end LO injection (fLO = 1490MHz), the MAX2682 has a gain of +12.0dB and a noise figure of 9.2dB. The input third-order intercept point (IIP3) is +1.8dBm, which is powered by +3.0V. The current is 14.7 mA.

The MAX2682 is part of a family of silicon germanium (SiGe) downconverters designed for low voltage, low current operation and is ideal for mobile communications equipment. The MAX2682 can be downconverted to an intermediate frequency (IF) of 10MHz to 500MHz using a 400MHz to 2500MHz radio frequency (RF) input. The GPS input signal frequency of the Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver is 1575MHz. Assuming an intermediate frequency of 85MHz and a low-end LO injection (fLO = 1490MHz), the MAX2682 has a gain of +12.0dB and a noise figure of 9.2dB. The third-order input intercept point (IIP3) is +1.8dBm, which is powered by +3.0V. The current is 14.7 mA. See Figure 1 for component values and schematics.
