Times VR "Life VR" released in autumn, involving many fields

Life is a U.S. Weekly brand and they released Life VR a few months ago. Now this app is finally coming out in the fall. Life VR will link with more than 100 global brands such as Entertainment Weekly and Sports Illustrated to display related virtual reality content, including news, sports, travel, and fashion.

Life VR is somewhat similar to virtual reality books. Users can see VR content elaborated by Time Magazine while wearing VR headset. For the smooth production of Life VR, Time has previously cooperated with NextVR, WEVR, Framestore and other companies.

Times Magazine has always been highly regarded for VR technology. They used the name of Oculus's founder, Palmer Luckey, as a cover in last August’s publication. Interestingly, this issue of the cover caused people to question, Palmer Luckey pose is too ugly, the background and the character is more like through the combination of poor PS. People began to scramble this picture, Palmer Luckey looked very open, the spoofing map was used in the theme and the big picture of their Facebook page.

In addition to Time Magazine, the New York Times also has a lot of movement in the field of VR. They had previously reached a cooperation with Google and together with the newspapers, presented a gift of 1 million VR heads-up Google Cardboard. The New York Times also has a virtual reality application called “NYT VR” and has launched a public interest video of virtual reality.
