Mitsubishi Chemical will invest 15 billion yen to expand LED substrates and components

Before the end of 2015, Japanese manufacturer Mitsubishi Chemical will invest 15 billion yen to mass produce LED substrates and expand LED components.

Mitsubishi Chemical is currently in the process of developing a new method to reduce the production cost of LED substrates to the current 1/10, and will start mass production in its new production line in the Tsukuba Plant by the end of 2012; the LED substrate uses gallium nitride (GaN). It consumes only 1/3 of the power of a typical sapphire substrate.

At the same time, Mitsubishi Chemical also plans to increase the monthly production capacity of LED components from the current 40 million to 100 million, and plans to implement OEM orders to expand the monthly capacity of LED components to 1 billion. The Mitsubishi LED module is purple, and it emits white light through the phosphors of the three primary colors.

Mitsubishi Chemical currently has an exclusive license agreement with Cree, Inc., an upstream LED chip manufacturer; Mitsubishi Chemical will manufacture and sell independent gallium nitride (GaN) substrates under the agreement, and has the right to sign a similar patent scope. Safety Controller

CSRME safety controller is developed for standard GB27607. By monitoring machine tool safety related equipment, the security of machine control system can meet the requirements of GB27607, and its security meets the requirements of ISO13849-1 (PLe) and IEC61508 (SIL3).

With rich interfaces, CSRME has limited programmable function. It can simultaneously replace many different types of safety control modules or safety PLCs, thus greatly simplifying the safety design of machine control systems and reducing cost.
