The ON Semiconductor Sigfox portfolio offers ultra-low power connectivity devices and development kits for IoT devices that need to transfer small amounts of data. The AX-SFxx and AX-SFxx-API radio frequency (RF) transceivers are single-chip solutions for Sigfox network nodes with upstream and downstream capabilities. This series can be operated in Radio Configuration Areas (RCZ) 1, 2, 3, 4 and 7, and can be controlled by AT command (AX-SFxx) or AXSEM Sigfox library (AX-SFxx-API). These products feature eight general purpose input/output (GPIO) pins for receive and transmit (RX/TX) switch control.
With the ON Semiconductor Sigfox development kit, engineers can quickly develop Sigfox connectivity applications using the Sigfox SoC solution, which includes a two-year Sigfox subscription. These kits are pre-programmed with the Sigfox protocol stack and a complete and easy-to-use serial communication protocol based on AT commands. These kits also feature SMA connectors for conducting and measuring radiation with the included whip antenna.
ON Semiconductor's Sigfox connectivity solution is ideal for building and home automation, automatic meter reading, control and lighting, and sensor and asset tracking.
