Routing algorithm of hybrid orbit satellite communication system
"Maximum Coverage Time" Algorithm Due to the rapid movement of low-orbit satellites relative to the ground terminal, the communication between users will cause the problem of satellite switching, and it is necessary to use a suitable routing algorithm. This paper first studies the "maximum coverage time" routing algorithm, which focuses on the selection of the link between the source / destination gateway and the LEO satellite in its coverage area, so that users can access the pair as much as possible within the satellite's capacity limit. The satellite with the longest coverage. The algorithm flow is shown in Figure 1.
The route selection process in the figure is to start from the customs station first, and select the LEO satellite with the longest connection time to the customs station according to the remaining time of each satellite connected to the customs station. After determining the two LEO satellites of the access source and destination gateway respectively, select the GEO satellite. Since there are only two GEO satellites, based on the length of the path from the two satellites to the selected LEO satellite, the shortest path is selected for intermediate forwarding. After the route is determined, the link is established. When the source and destination gateways are the same, the gateways exchange and process data. When the latitude is high, there is no satellite coverage over the gateway station temporarily, or congestion occurs, the satellite channels over the gateway station are all occupied, and when the satellite has no new resources to use, routing failure will occur.

The "shortest path" algorithm is crucial for satellite interactive multimedia communication systems with the smallest possible transmission delay. Therefore, this paper studies another routing algorithm-the "shortest path" algorithm. This algorithm selects the route according to the principle of the shortest LEO path between the gateway station and its coverage area. When the original datagram is generated, the system first searches for the idle channel on the closest satellite, and if there is, establishes a connection, otherwise selects the closest satellite among the remaining satellites. If none of the satellites in the current coverage area has an idle channel, the datagram is discarded. The algorithm flow is shown in Figure 2.
