The penetration rate of fixed broadband households in China reached 78.9%, and the penetration rate of mobile broadband users reached 86.3%.

Recently, China Broadband Development Alliance released the 8th "China Broadband Popularization Report" (first quarter of 2018). The report shows that as of the first quarter of 2018, China's fixed broadband household penetration rate reached 78.9%, and mobile broadband users became popular. The rate reached 86.3%, more than two years ahead of the "13th Five-Year Plan" target of 85% at the end of 2020. So far, China's fixed broadband household penetration rate and mobile broadband user penetration rate have both exceeded the "13th Five-Year Plan" end of 2020 goals.

China's broadband user penetration rate to achieve "double super"

The level of broadband penetration is an important indicator to measure the socio-economic development status and the driving force of information innovation in a country and region. In China’s “Thirteenth Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development of the People’s Republic of China”, fixed broadband families will be As a major indicator of China's economic and social development during the 13th Five-Year Plan period, the penetration rate and the penetration rate of mobile broadband users have set a goal of reaching 70% and 85% respectively by the end of 2020.

The penetration rate of fixed broadband households in China reached 78.9%, and the penetration rate of mobile broadband users reached 86.3%.

As of the first quarter of 2018, the number of fixed broadband households in China has reached 352.226 million, and the penetration rate of fixed broadband households has reached 78.9%. Among them, China Telecom Group Corporation, China Mobile Communications Group, China United Network Communications Group Co., Ltd. three basic telecommunications companies, the number of fixed broadband households reached 33.022 million, the number of fixed broadband home users of other broadband access service providers It reached 36.804 million households.

The penetration rate of fixed broadband households in China reached 78.9%, and the penetration rate of mobile broadband users reached 86.3%.

As of the first quarter of 2018, the number of mobile broadband (3G and 4G) users in China has reached 1,19.984 million (excluding mobile communication resale users), and the penetration rate of mobile broadband users has reached 86.3%.

In recent years, with the continuous advancement of the work of “speeding up and reducing fees”, under the joint promotion of the competent authorities of the communications industry, basic telecommunications companies and relevant parties in the broadband development industry chain, China’s broadband penetration level has achieved “leap-forward” development: Under the circumstances of China's huge population base, the annual penetration rate of fixed broadband household penetration rate and mobile broadband user penetration rate is close to 15 percentage points. Following the third quarter of 2017, China's fixed broadband household penetration rate has jumped three lines ahead of the “13th Five-Year Plan”. After the end of 2020, in the first quarter of 2018, the penetration rate of mobile broadband users in China exceeded the target of the “13th Five-Year Plan” by 2020, and ranked higher in the world than in some developed countries.

Internationally, the penetration rate of mobile broadband users is comparable to that of the OECD (Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development, an intergovernmental international economic organization composed of 35 of the world's most developed market economies), in all 35 countries. Ranked 20th, has surpassed developed countries such as France, Germany, Canada (according to the latest statistics of the OECD official website), but there is still a gap between the average penetration rate of mobile broadband users in the OECD countries of 101.8%.

Regional differences are still not small: the overall lead in the eastern region

From the perspective of broadband development in various regions, the gap in fixed broadband areas is shrinking but the gap still exists. The household penetration rate in the eastern region of China is the highest, reaching 91.9%, which is 22.8 and 20.5 percentage points higher than that in the central and western regions respectively.

The penetration rate of fixed broadband households in China reached 78.9%, and the penetration rate of mobile broadband users reached 86.3%.

In terms of provinces, Jiangsu Province has the highest level of 112.4%, and Zhejiang, Fujian, and Guangdong provinces have also exceeded 100% (the fixed broadband household penetration rate exceeds 100%, mainly because there is a household user with multiple fixed residences. In the case of multiple fixed broadband access services, Shanghai ranked in the top five regions, and Beijing ranked sixth with 90.0%; followed by Qinghai, Heilongjiang and Guizhou provinces. , Yunnan Province and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

The penetration rate of fixed broadband households in China reached 78.9%, and the penetration rate of mobile broadband users reached 86.3%.

In terms of regional penetration, mobile broadband users are the highest in the eastern region, reaching 99.9%, which is 27.1 and 17.9 percentage points higher than the central and western regions respectively. From the perspective of the provinces, Beijing reached 150.8%, far exceeding other regions. More than 100% were Shanghai (126.5%), Guangdong Province (124.1%), Zhejiang Province (117.0%) and Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region (100.2). %).

Support Panels And Subpanels Membrane Switch

A back panel mount or bezel offers support for your assembly providing a rigid surface to push against to actuate the switch. Back panels are available in a variety of materials and can be either stock or custom made to fit your application.

Should your project require a back Membrane Switch panel mount or bezel, Soushine can provide this value added option to complete your membrane switch assembly. Having Soushine assemble your switch onto a switch panel mount allows us to pot the tail to prevent water ingression. We can then test and ensure proper function of the tactile switch and bezel assembly.
