Lin Junmin, director of Everlight Electronics, said that the new generation 7020 system introduces a new high-performance wire bracket plastic epoxy resin (EMC), which not only has a size of 7 mm × 2 mm × 0.65 mm, but also has a significantly reduced height, enabling narrow bezel design; And the luminous efficiency can reach 90 lumens per watt, so it is more suitable for LED TV brand manufacturers to mass produce ultra-narrow bezel edge-lit LED TV. Many Korean and Taiwan LED packaging factories have stepped up the deployment of the new generation 7020 solution. It is expected that products will be available in the first half of 2013.
Lin Junmin pointed out that in addition to actively improving the luminous efficiency and thinning of the new generation 7020 solution through the wire-bracket plastic EMC, the LED packaging factory also reduces the cost of LED packaging components by cost-competitive EMC. According to the cost structure analysis of LED components, the wire bracket accounts for about 15% of the BOM component of the LED component. In other words, the new generation 7020 will be reduced by 15% compared with the 7020 and 7030 developed by the conventional PCT and PA9T plastics.
Since the conventional 7020 and 7030 are made of polybutylene terephthalate-dimethylene methyl ester (PCT) or high heat-resistant polyamide resin 9T (PA9T) wire holder plastic, heat resistance is poor and light is emitted.
