Hewlett-Packard announced several products for the upcoming CES 2017 show and brought in Sprout Pro, the second-generation Windows 10 high-end all-in-one. Users can place real-world objects on touch-sensitive pads and then perform 3D scanning with the Intel RealSense 3D camera lens in the top probe. A projector is also integrated in the top probe, allowing images to be projected in the sensor pad.
After a real object passes the 3D scan, the 3D model can be exported to a computer, and the user can rotate, color, and other operations with the finger in the touch sensor pad. 3D models can be imported into Autodesk's Meshmixer and Microsoft's 3D Builder applications. The user can use either a physical keyboard or a touch keyboard projected in the sensor pad.
It is reported that Sprout Pro is mainly launched for schools to cultivate children's interest in learning. In terms of configuration, Sprout Pro is equipped with Intel's seventh generation Kaby Lake Core i7 processor, GeForce GTX 960M graphics, 23-inch display, 1TB hybrid hard drive, upgradeable to 16GB DDR4 memory, running Windows 10 Pro, second-generation Sprout Pro anticipation Released in March.
