Founded in 2013, Eyefluence has raised $21.6 million in investors including Intel Capital, Jazz Venture Partners, Motorola Systems Ventures and NHN Investment.
Eyefluence quietly announced the news in the company blog post. “Today, we are pleased to announce that the Eyefluence team will join Google! Combining the strength of Google, we will continue to advance the development of eye-interactive technology to expand human potential and resonance. We look forward to working with Google to change human life. Innovation," said Eyefluence.
The Google Daydream View headset will be available next month and will feature the Daydream VR platform. Now, Google’s attention has shifted directly to the next generation of headsets.
